Fish casserole with Snøfrisk® cream cheese

Snøfrisk® cream cheese adds delicious flavour to this simple fish casserole, and both white and red fish can be used. Serve with a tasty salad and boiled rice.

  • 300 ml Rice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 chopped red pepper
  • 1 small leek, thinly sliced
  • 1 garlic, finely chopped
  • 300 ml Single cream
  • 1 cups Snøfrisk® Original
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 600 g fish fillet (cod, pollock, salmon or trout)
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Here is how you do it

Cook the rice according to the instructions on the pack.

Melt butter in a pan, and fry the pepper and leek together with the garlic.

Add the single cream and Snøfrisk®, and stir until the Snøfrisk® dissolves. Add the salt, pepper and lemon juice and arrange portions of fish on top.

TIP: You can always use Snøfrisk® Wild Dill instead of the original variety.

Cook until the fish is ready, approx. 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh basil.

TIP: Serve with rice and a tasty salad
